Introduction
Hello today I am going to tell you about Greek Gods and Goddesses. I hope you enjoy!
The Greek Gods and Goddesses
Note: The versions of this story are all different and, it is super duper confusing
First there was nothing in the universe until Gaia (Goddess of the Earth)
and Uranus (God of Sky) came. Uranus loved Gaia so much that he wrapped her up in his cloak of the night sky.
Together they gave birth to many beautiful children but then Gaia started giving birth to cyclopses and monsters. Uranus thought these children were so ugly he locked them up. This made Gaia very angry because, these were her children and she loved them all.
Gaia asked her son Cronus (God of time)
to kill Uranus. This is what Cronus did and then he married his sister, Rhea (Goddess of motherhood).
and crowned himself king of the Gods. Soon he was told by Gaia that he would be overcome by his children so, whenever Rhea had a baby he swallowed them (I mean why can’t people live in peace!).
Soon Rhea had had enough so, she went to Gaia to ask for help. When Gaia heard about what Cronus had been doing she got very angry and told Rhea this:
When you have your next baby give Cronus a stone wrapped in cloth and hide your baby in this cave. I will do the rest.
That’s all I am telling you now I will continue next week!

P.S. Here is a fun fact. The longest word in the English language is:
Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
Which means: A lung disease caused by inhaling very fine ash and sand dust.
And the second longest word in the English language:
Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia
Which means: Fear of long words
